There are three settlements on the island of St Martin's in the Isles of Scilly. There is Higher Town, Middle Town and, you guessed it, Lower Town. You can probably work out where the names come from.
Lower Town mostly comprises of the St Martin's On The Isle hotel which was being refurbished at the time this photo was taken.
