One of the trails through the Penrose Estate which sits on the edge of Loe Pool, between Helston and Porthleven.
The National Trust owned estate is criss-crossed by several trails which are closed to cars but open to walkers and cyclists.
You can just get a glimpse of Loe Pool in the distance. This is Cornwall's largest naturally formed freshwater lake and it runs right down to the sea, from which it is separated by Loe Bar. The bridge in the photo crosses the River Cober which in medieval times was navigable all the way up to Helston.
