The cairn (or carn) at the summit of Roughtor on Bodmin Moor. This is the second highest point in Cornwall. The view here is of the northern ramparts of what is a ridge across the top of the tor. Beyond is the moor and then the coast.

The crest of Roughtor is rich in ancient sites dating back to the Stone and Bronze Ages. It was also once home to a small medieval chapel.
