Roughtor

Roughtor (pronounced row-tor) on Bodmin Moor is the second highest point in Cornwall at 1313 ft (400m) above sea level. The land seems to go up in two big steps in this part of Cornwall. Straight up from the sea, with the highest cliffs in Cornwall and then up again when you reach the moor.

Roughtor is only about 1.5 miles from Camelford but it feels like civilisation is a long way off when you arrive on a frosty morning like this with no one except a few sheep for company.
