A walk through the woods at Golitha Falls National Nature Reserve on a February afternoon. As you might notice the walk starts out quite tame along a nice wide level path - but it wasn't take long before I was taking my life in my hands negotiating the treacherous path along the gorge!

Winter probably isn't the best time of year to visit the woods at Golitha Falls as the abundant wildlife is somewhat subdued. On the other hand the river is generally a lot more full after Cornwall's rainy season making the cascades more spectacular.
