Looking across to 'The Bar' from Gugh on the Scilly Isles.
The Bar, or Gugh Bar, is the narrow stretch of sand that connects the islands of St Agnes and Gugh. It is technically a 'tombolo', whatever that might mean, and is covered up by the advancing tide - at which point attempts to cross should not be made.
