Trevellas Porth Cove, St Agnes

Trevellas Porth Cove is just around the corner from St Agnes. The valley here was once at the heart of a large scale mining operation (the Blue Hills mine) the ruins of which remain as a poignant reminder of the area's industrial heritage.

Today, this is one of the North coast's quieter beaches with rarely more than a handful of people on the sandy shingle beach. It's a great spot for snorkelling on calm days like this but with no lifeguard present it isn't an ideal family beach.
