The ruins of the South Wheal Frances mine workings near Redruth. I beleive this was the boiler/compressor room and engine house serving the Marriot shaft that reached down around 6,000ft.
Operational until the early 1900s South Wheal Frances is one of the most impressive sets of mine workings in Cornwall
