Porth Saxon beach, also known as Porth Sawsen is situated on the northern bank of the Helford river. It is one of the closest beaches to the mouth of the Helford, sitting at the bottom of the Carwinion valley.
It's a 20 minute walk from the nearest parking so the beach here is rarely busy. Most people are just passing through whilst on the coast path or visiting the gardens.
