Dozmary Pool on Bodmin Moor.
Reputedly the resting place of Excalibur, King Authur's sword which was cast into the lake after his death to be caught by a womans hand and taken into the depths.
The lake also features in the story of Tregeagle, who was set the task of emptying the lake with a leaky limpet shell
