Treworgans Farm Holidays offer fully accessible self-catering accommodation in mid Cornwall.
There are two barn conversions which have been thoughtfully designed to accommodate wheelchair users and their families, friends and carers and can provide hoists, electric beds, shower chairs and riser recline chairs to mention a few items available.
Set in mid-Cornwall, on a small family run grassland farm, Treworgans Farm is ideally positioned to explore breathtaking coastlines, beautiful gardens and a multitude of nationally acclaimed attractions.
This disabled friendly holiday accommodation provides an excellent base from which to explore all the delights that Cornwall has to offer.
Buzzard Watch is a single storey barn and sleeps 4, with full access for wheelchair users.
Valley View sleeps 6 with one of the bedrooms, with level access shower, on the same level as the living accommodation.
Bedrooms
Buzzard Watch - both bedrooms have ensuite facilities (one hasa level access shower). The bedrooms can either be twin bedded or super-king size.
Valley View has three bedrooms, all of which are ensuite and can be either twin or super king. This is a two storey barn but one of the bedrooms (with a level access wetroom) is on the same level as the main living accommodation therefore creating rooms which are accessible to all.
Living Area
Buzzard watch has exposed roof timbers giving a spacious and airy feel to the living areas and large patio doors lead off to the private patio area.
Valley view features reverse level accommodation. The open plan living room has a spacious and airy feel created by its exposed beams. There is a cozy wood burner to supplement the electric central heating.
TV's, DVD players, Freeview box, HiFi's, WiFi, a selection of toys and reading material are provided in each barn.
Bathrooms
Both barns have a level access style wetroom and all other bedrooms have ensuite facilities.
The wetrooms consist of a level access shower with grabrails fitted, toilet with drop arm rail beside and wash basin with a clear under space. The floors are fitted with non slip flooring.
Kitchen
The kitchen in each barn has a hob, which can be lowered if necessary and it has a clear underspace. The kitchen sink also has a clear underspace.
Equipment provided in the barns includes: Washer/dryer, combination microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, food processor, iron and ironing board.
Each barn has its own private patio area with seating and barbecue.
