The hamlet of Middlewood is located between Launceston and Liskeard and nestles in a picturesque valley on the fringes of Bodmin Moor. Our comfortable 19th century home has been renovated sensitively in order to provide modern contemporary accommodation in a characterful setting. Just 10 minutes from the A30 and 15 minutes from the A38, you can enjoy a beautiful rural location with many things to see and do. This idyllic and unspoilt corner of Cornwall is perfectly placed to explore all that this region of the South West of England has to offer.
During the restoration and refurbishment of Hill View, the old original character has been maintained where possible, along with features such as luxurious ensuite facilities in each room and free wi-fi access throughout the property.
Each of our rooms have their own external access and individual seating area that borders a spring fed stream that meanders through the gardens. Locally there is much to see and do, including miles of glorious walks through the valleys and moorland of Bodmin. It is even possible to walk out straight from the property. Hill View is also well placed to enjoy the spectacular horse and cycle riding opportunities in the locality. Whether your passion is golf or visiting the many houses and gardens of Cornwall and west Devon, Hill View provides that relaxed and tranquil base in which to recharge the batteries. When not out and about exploring our fantastic and varied county, you can relax in our well-appointed rooms or take in the views, which can be enjoyed in the sunshine from the gardens or seating areas.
