One of a pair of semi detached cottages, Cobblers Cottage at Tremaine Manor with a forget me not blue painted stable door facing towards the pretty village green with its majestic weeping silver birch tree. The Tremaine Manor Estate consists of the Manor house and 12 traditional cottages, barns and a shepherd"s hut, situated within a secluded and private Hamlet dating back over 400 years.
The open-plan sitting room and dining area has large french doors that open out into a paved patio area over looking the croquet lawn, a lovely spot for a cream tea in the summer sunshine. The sitting room has a feature stone fireplace with an inset wood burning stove, wooden floor with colourful rugs and leather sofas and chairs. The kitchen overlooks the croquet lawn and is really well equipped for home cooking with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.
Upstairs is a lovely bedroom at the front with an antique mahogany half-tester double bed, and facing pony paddock at the rear of the cottage is a light and airy twin bedded room perfect for children or adults alike. There is also a fully tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath WC and wash basin.
Outside, the rear patio terrace has garden furniture including wooden sun loungers, a charcoal barbecue and firepit.
Within the grounds you will find an all weather tennis court along with a games room with table tennis, pool, dartboard, bagatelle, table football, outdoor chess, boules, croquet, badminton, pitch and putt, and assorted indoor games on-site. A private, fenced off children’s play area with swings, slide, monkey bars, and a sandpit is available for accompanied children up to 13 years of age. A convenient shared laundry room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer ideal for washing sandy costumes after a day at the beach. Carpenter"s Cottage welcomes two dogs with an exercise area and local kennels also available.
Tremaine enjoys its own village green, stream and duck pond along with miniature horses, pygmy goats, chickens and guinea pigs! Come and meet the animals at the Tremaine Petting Area, whilst staying here you can feed, pet and stroke our resident animals. Collect chicken eggs, and even take the eggs back to your cottage! Feed our resident ducks, stroke the guinea pigs as they do love to be cuddled. Brush the miniature horses, come and pet the pygmy goats, they do enjoy all the attention.

Finally, you will also find the gorgeous shepherd hut, Gillyflower (Sleeps 2).
