Abbey Slip in Penzance. This is possibly one of the oldest views in the town although I'm not sure where the reference to the Abbey comes from. The slip leads up to Chapel Street and past Abbey House (now a hotel). Just to the left of the shot is the dry dock.
Unfortunately if you try to find Abbey Slip in a search engine it seems the results have been taken over by property adverts as for some unknown reason this obscure little street has become synonymous with the Penzance postcode.
