Everything was great, wonderful proximity to the Eden Project, staff was lovely and the facilities nice and clean. Lovely environment. Great affordable option to stay around the Eden Project, and love the green initiatives plus super cool and quirky lodgings. I stayed in a landpod which was perfect, wifi worked great and was comfortable. Airstreams I think are bigger and look super cool and retro.
Crows Nest offers accommodations in Par, 1.2 miles from Par Sands Beach and 1.5 miles from Spit Beach. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge.

Boutique hotel with a very small number of rooms in a historic building was out of sight; room was spacious and bedding including extraordinarily soft high thread count cotton sheets; bartender was friendly; receptionist was hugely helpful acting as concierge to answer all of my local questions; deck view of estuary mouth and English channel was awesome; complimentary smooth as water gin stored in a crystal decanter and tonic water was a fantastic surprise
Perched on the rugged cliffs of St Austell Bay, The Carlyon Bay Hotel features a luxury spa, award-winning restaurant and a golf course. The hotel has panoramic views and 4-star bedrooms.

An eyesore upon arrival, loved the yurt it was massive but the fire was way too small it needs to be bigger, needs more outdoor lights more secure ground work with drainage, mixed shower/toilet block, £10 per bag of fire lighting equipment and was only allowed to buy one per night and because the fire wouldn’t stay lit we frize so checked out early. Would only recommend staying with small children if you stay in the summer

We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it.
We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it.
It also has an Art creation “Time & Tide Bells”
erected in the sea, that rings with the stronger waves at high tide. There are 13 of these bells 🔔 across the country, to bring more awareness of the imminent threats of climate change.
The Clay Factory on the other side of the beach, spoils the view a bit. It’s meant to be replaced by a marina in time to come.
We visited the beautiful harbour of Charlestown and walked the SW Coastal Path to Porthpean to round of our wonderful visit to that part of St Austell, Cornwall.

Great clean site. All flat and everyone friendly .
Great clean site. All flat and everyone friendly . No shop there to buy essentials so would need a car. Used cafe , friendly staff, very clean . Short stroll to pub at entrance to park , excellent food .
The cabin was amazing. We arrived late but the warden (Tricia) was available immediately in a phone call. She took us to the cabin and gave us a quick overview.
The main park was closed so not many people around but I am sure it will be buzzing when the season comes.
The cabin itself was amazing, all amenities were good. The heater warmed up the entire cabin in minutes. We also had some cider bottles, crones and fresh butter in the fridge as a welcome treat.
The stay was amazing overall and a special thanks to Tricia for being so kind.
The location was great - super near Eden Project, with a great starry night sky view. We had a great night's sleep in our cozy landpod. They provided us with a box of firewood and we had a lovely night with our bottles of wine. Staff were also really helpful and accommodating our request for an extra battery pack as one of our party required the use of a CPAP machine throughout the night.
Comfortable cottage with sunny garden, and great facilities
Walkable to 2 pubs (when open post Covid) and well stocked Co-op (nearest pub does huge tasty take away meals)
Good location for visiting other places
Pleasant host; kindly left milk, water and fudge for us!
Wifi and Alexa
Handy parking outside cottage 2 doors down
Helpful and clear directions
Comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and cosy Apartment. Bed was so comfy we had a great nights sleep.
Hosts were lovely and when we had a problem with the Shower it was fixed that day.
Can’t fault the Apartment, everything was great.
Many thanks

This was a lovely bright apartment. Tastefully furnished around honey and bees. Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer as well as the usual kettle, toaster etc. There was good parking. The heating was excellent. It made a very comfortable base to explore from.
Lovely little holiday park with friendly hosts. Loved the greenery and the walk through trees and golf course to the beach. The log cabin was spacious, comfy and well-equipped. Nice verandah. We appreciated the complimentary scones, cream and jam on arrival.
What a Gem of a place. Beautifull retro apartment. So welcoming clean, just perfect. Little kitchen to make hot drinks. We slept like babies. The owners were so friendly and made sure our stay was the best, and it was. We will be back Thank you. Mel
The property suited our purpose as it was near to our friends house and close to beaches with easy access by car to different places. Also off road parking was handy and local shop and pub and take away was all in walking distance of the property.
I loved the huge amount of space we had. The decor was fab, and we felt very relaxed. The area surrounding us was beautiful, and I loved how private it was (including the private gate). The apartment was clean also.
Spacey, comfortable flat.
Very close to the Eden Project.
Local shops were very close.
Great apartment to explore Cornwall from.
Best of all, Matthew was very attentive and on-hand to make this a relaxed stay.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming.
The room was a great size, comfortable, airy.
Spacious parking and a great location.
Breakfast and dinner were cooked well and enjoyed.
We loved the interior design of the apartment, it was stylish and comfortable, wish we stayed longer and maybe we will be back next time we are in Cornwall!
