The town's National Maritime Museum is gorgeous, and the town's historic pubs along the harbour's edge are just the icing on the cake. Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle, located on a peninsula with breathtaking views of Falmouth Harbor, is a top tourist attraction. To the west of Falmouth harbour, on the Roseland Peninsula, is the picturesque village of St. Mawes, with its rocky coves, sandy beaches, and rolling landscape. Driving there will take you around 15 miles, alternatively you can take the Falmouth Passenger Ferry (15 minutes).
