David & Tamara bought Kinbrae House in 2016 moving from their island home of Jersey to relocate to fabulous Falmouth. They closed Kinbrae House for 18 months to carryout an extensive refurbishment project to create these gorgeous apartments. David is a former swimming pool designer & builder & Tamara was an Interior Architect, both ran their own businesses in Jersey but wanted a retirement project. They have put so much thought & care into creating Kinbrae House as they knew what they both wanted when they rented self catering accommodation when on holiday. They love living in Cornwall & particularly enjoy water sports including sailing, surfing, kayaking & sea swimming in their spare time. They love year round coastal and woodland walks exploring the incredible countryside close to their lovely cottage just outside Falmouth where they live with their gorgeous dog Kato. They enjoy gardening, DIY, & eating out. They also love to cook & entertain friends at home using wonderful fresh Cornish ingredients that they buy at their local village markets & local food suppliers. They enjoy travelling both in the UK & abroad, returning to Jersey to see friends & family when they can.

The entire property has been beautifully refurbished to 5 star quality for couples wishing to stay in this most stunning yet quiet location in Falmouth. There are sea & garden views from the apartments. The largest ground floor apartment, Cornish Chough has a private garden, sun terrace, garage & fully equipped utility room. Curlew, the other large ground floor apartments, has wonderful sea views. Both ground floor apartments are ideal for couples or two friends wishing to share a bedroom as the super king beds can be split into twin beds. There is a private car park for guests, an outside shower & sport storage area. A lovely sunny terrace for all guests to use. On the first floor Oyster Catcher has sea views, Sanderling has garden views & Puffin has garden & distant sea view. Luxury bedding, linen, towels, travel toiletries, bathrobes & slippers incl. Super Fast Fibre Broadband. Complimentary Cornish Cream tea, fresh fruit & flower welcome.

Kinbrae House is a delightful detached Edwardian property of standing in a prominent position close to Gylly Beach & the SW coastal path. When walking East along the seafront promenade you will arrive at Pendennis Castle built by Henry VIII, this is about a 15 minute walk from Kinbrae House. The Princess Pavilion & lovely Gyllyngdune Gardens are a couple of minutes stroll up the road. Gylly Beach is a two minute walk from Kinbrae House where the SW coastal path brings you to Queen Mary Gardens, Swanpool & Maenporth beaches beyond. Events Square & Falmouth Town are a 10 minute walk from Kinbrae House. You can take ferries to St Mawes & Truro from here. There are fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, art galleries & shops in Falmouth. Its a lovely town right on the waters edge of the huge estuary called the Carrick Roads. Amazing NT & private gardens are located close to Falmouth. An hour away by car you can visit the Lizard, Lands End, St Ives, Newquay & the Lost Gardens of Heligen & the fabulous Eden Project in just over an hour. Surf beaches are located on the Lizard, South & North coast & can be reached by car in less than 45mins from Falmouth. It's a great area to come & visit.
