Attractions in St Ives

  • Leach Pottery postage stamp - 1987

    Established by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in 1920, many studio potters have had their training here. The historic pottery buildings have been restored, there are regular exhibitions and a selling gallery with work by leading contemporary potters.

    Situated just away from the town centre, overlooking Bamaluz beach is St Ives town museum. The exhibitions and collections reflect the fishing, railway, tourism and mining that have defined the town.
