A wonderful mix of gardens, puzzles, nature trails and a miniature railway, Hidden Valley Discovery Park should appeal to all ages.
This quirky amusement park is located close to the town of Launceston. Spanning some 60 acres, the attraction is based around the hunt for hidden crystals, with several alternative treasure hunting trails to choose between. There is also a fun miniature railway, children's play area, and large outdoor maze, in addition to the ‘Forbidden Mansion' and gardens.
Here visitors will find a topsy-turvy world where not everything is as it seems. Some rooms are entirely upside down in appearance, while the mansion also includes many hidden passageways that may – or may not – help hunters uncover their much sought-after treasure.
With plenty to do whatever the weather, Hidden Valley Discovery Park is open 10-5 from April until October. Adults cost around £12 and children £11.
Suitable for all ages, the park is located just off the A30/A395. Dogs on a lead are very welcome.
