View out over Portreath beach from the top of West Hill. You can easily tell its Portreath from the round white shapes of the "Pepperpot" and "Monkey Hut" on the cliff and pier at the far end of the beach.
To get to this side of the beach I decided to drive. The road here (Battery Hill) goes in front of the white house at the top of the cliff and is just about wide enough to get a car down. Which was nice when I met a car coming the other way!
