A glimpse of Porth Joke (or Polly Joke) from the dunes at the back of the beach. This is at low tide and as you may be able to see it is an awful long way to the water. On the plus side that is an awful lot of sand to run around on!
Porth Joke is located between Crantock and Holywell Bay and involves a bit of a hike from either. But it is worth it, especially to escape the crowds.
