This lovely little sandy cove is Pentire Steps, located somewhere between Padstow and Newquay. Whilst access is not for the faint-hearted it is possible via the footpath you can just make out on the left. Most people haven't heard of or visited Pentire Steps but many will have been to the beach just around the healand, which is one of Cornwall's best known landmarks, Bedruthan Steps. The rock just to the right of the headland is known as Digory's Island and is in fact a continuation of the sea stacks that have made Bedruthan as unique and iconic as it is.
